2 day (weekend) Course

This course is aimed at the home studio user who has had their kit for a year or so and is not happy with the results they are getting or do not fully understand their phantom powers from their gain structures. A working level of knowledge will be expected from students and a thorough 2 day course will teach you recording techniques, acoustic treatment, home studio design, different ways to achieve the sound you are looking for and will give you the skills you need to make a real difference to the quality of the recording you are doing in your studio. Perhaps more importantly than all of that, you will also understand why and how you have made that difference. We are confident your first reaction when you get home to implement the skills you have learnt will be "wow"!

Introduction To The Home Studio.

2 Day (weekend) course

This course is aimed at the enthusiast or band member who is keen to set up a home studio but doesn't know one end of microphone from the other. On completion of the course the student will know how to connect the various components of their new studio together to achieve the best results possible. They will also have a basic understanding of some simple recording techniques that they can use to achieve significantly better results that could be expected from simple plugging in and hoping for the best. You will also learn what bits of kit you will need and what bits of kit you will not!
