2 Day (weekend) course
The world of radio is a mysterious place and
the hardest part of working in the business is getting through the door and speaking
to your friendly program controller. We will give you a thorough understanding of
the "business" of radio as well as how to make a well structured radio program. You
will have lots of hands on time with some state of the art radio studio technology
and will leave the course with a demo that will hopefully make your application to
the next station you apply to, stand out. As with our friends in the recording studio
we feel that the most important part of the course in understanding why you do something.
Why do you play certain types of song at certain times? Why do you have to watch
levels? why does S&P have such a huge impact on your show?
You will also have a one
to one chat with our very own "tame" program manager. We encourage you to bring with
you any demos you currently have so that we can give feedback and hopefully improve
your chances of getting a gig !
